CES Photoshoot {Behind the Scenes}

This past weekend we finally crossed something off of our ‘to-do’ list that had been on there for the past three years – a company photoshoot.  Most of you all know what our mugs look like, but we thought it might be nice to have a few pictures of us that represented who we really are as a company.  Sarah and I are the front faces, as in we do all of the client meetings, blogging (though we have been begging the boys to pop in here occassionally), shooting, editing, and most of the day to day things.  However we aren’t running this whole show (not by a long shot).  Our men take care of our finances & IT as well as lots of other things that fall under the ‘misc’ catagory.  They help keep us sane when we freak out, are a sounding board for our ideas, and encourage us to keep going and pushing ourselves.

As CES has evolved, so have we.  Looking at these photos is a reminder to us that we are living our lives the way we want to.  We’re doing the things we love, with the people we love, and are so immensely blessed that it is crazy.  3+ years ago when we first thought of starting this venture we had no idea where it would take us (we had hopes and plans, but who really knows how those will pan out?).  We probably didn’t realize that this picture would have two kiddos in them, but man, we’re so glad that they do.  There are lots of things that have changed in the past 3 years but one thing that hasn’t is how much we love Creative Event Studio.  Thanks be to God for blessing us so greatly!

PPS:  Make sure and check back on Thursday for more pictures from this shoot.  After our group pictures were done Chris (my curly haired husband who also happens to be our back-up photographer) took some pictures of just Sarah and I.  It was pretty weird being in front of the camera but he did a great job and we’ll be sharing many of them on Thursday.
