Farmer Session {Styled Shoot}

We were in the car when Jon presented his idea for this session.  At first I wasn’t sure, not really of the idea (I heart photoshoots as much as the next girl) but really just unsure if he was serious.  I told him if he could convince Ginger, that I’d be game.  Ginger quickly jumped on board, and thus this shoot was born.  If you follow us on facebook, you know that we have been testing our hand at gardening this year.  It’s not turned out to shabby…these cherry tomatoes are coming out our ears, good thing they are AH-MAZING plus we can’t wait for our corn to be ready for harvest!  So the idea for this session is more personal since it allows us to show off our skills on a couple levels!  What turned out amazing about this session is that Jonathan, who often remains far behind the scenes not only conceived the idea but ended up shooting the images of Ginger & I (while he was in his overalls, it was quite the image…only we didn’t have the camera in hand this time!).  I’m very proud of him and his creative eye…shout out to the “silent” members of our team.  Now to the fun stuff….

I think Jon has a bright future! Your garden looks great, and I am so jealous of the tall corn!!

Remind me not to ask Jonathan for clothing, hair, OR makeup suggestions SHOULD I decide to have a photo shoot in my garden. However, I do have a great pair of black overalls purchased near your hometown to donate to the next photo shoot.

Sarah, I’m pretty sure my grandmother had wallpaper to match your housecoat.

Ginger, you look so pious.

Love it!

Jeanette

Pigtails, corn, overalls, and a baby! Such fun, miss you guys!
