HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINGER {Special Occasion}

“I know what you guys have, it’s great,” was the comment made to us at a wedding last weekend. We were already both teary eyed after the first toast of the night (yea we’re like that). You see the Bride understood a part of us that only few do.  She understood because she too had a friend she’d carried through life with her, she and her Matron of Honor had been friends since they were in elementary school. It’s a rare commodity to have a friend like that. It’s a gift that, as we often say, we don’t take lightly. Today is Ginger’s birthday, so bare with me as I get mushy (and share too many random pics)!

Happiest of days to you my dear friend. I am so thankful you were born. I’m thankful that our lives have crossed, intersected and become bound together. I could recount memories and stories for days, things that make me laugh, cry and smile. I am honored to call you friend. I love where life has taken us. I’m blessed to have had you by my side on the best days and the worst days and everything between, because a friend loves at all times. I’m better for the things you’ve taught me. The things you’ve lived out in front of me as an example, a call to a better version of me. I’m grateful beyond that which I could ever express. I can’t imagine any other version of life except our “functional co-dependancy” full of habits of “co-communicating” and dreaming big together! Enjoy the day!
