Josh & Rachel…married!

At a Dairy Queen in North KC in the spring, we met Josh and Rachel (friends of these lovelies, you know we love brides that love our brides!) Then the following fall we met them at MU for their fantastic love session.  And this summer we followed them to Liberty, MO where they were finally married.  I think our story with them is a fun mirror of their own story together.  Josh is a Air Force man, now stationed in Colorado.  Rachel was finishing up her teaching degree at the University of Missouri (where they met).  She spent much of their engagement season planning, studying and flying to Colorado to spend time with her love…challenging at times, but such a beautiful time in life.  These two have the sweetest presence.  We think it’s easy to fall in love with them and easy to see their love for each other.

Rachel was surrounded by a beautiful bunch of ladies.  Including her sister Stephanie, whom we love!  We’ve said it many times, but the layers of relationships revealed in a bridal party is always fantastic, the coming together of those you love from all corners of life! As she was getting her dress on, Rachel  remarked, “It’s weird this isn’t usually us,” a giggle and in unison… “always a bridesmaid never a bride.” When the time finally comes, Rachel has made a beautiful bride…look at her, stunning!

Chris spent time with Josh and his groomsmen…I love how laid back the guys are!

Josh & Rachel opted for a sneak peak, which is always fabulous to get the special moment of reveal and of course the quality time for pictures!

We, and by we I mean I asked and the groomsmen delivered, removed this super fun red chair from the ballroom and inserted it into the most perfect field….love love love!

Okay, so these girls rocked my world…seriously there was a dance party going on during photos…we LOVE dance parties!

Just about time for the official weddedness of these two kids.  Energy is good!
