Justin & Nicole…wedding

Nicole and Justin dated for a long time so this day was truly the bringing together of lives, history and the depth of relationship they have built with one another.  The strength of their friendship was the foundation for their big day.  Speaking of, their big day all transpired at the National Agricultural Hall of Fame in Bonner Springs, Kansas.  Their reception was inside a barn and wonderfully decorated with touches of yellow, vintage books, teapots…and all things rustic!

We normally spend a great deal more time with the ladies during the “getting ready process” as their process is so much more in depth…this day, we enjoyed plenty of time with Justin and the guys…got to watch them razz each other and joke around as they primped…it was fun and we could again see the depth of friendship in this place.

Then of course once they are in their duds we catch some moments with them.

The dress, which is always a piece of interest for us, was white…like white white.  And in seeing it in it’s brilliance we realized how rarely we see a truly white dress.  Nicole, in her cool afternoon manner dressed in a sundress and cowboy boots (see that expression below…ah, a breeze bride, our favorite!).  She explained that it’s your wedding and a white white dress seems appropriate for the occasion…we couldn’t agree more.

Of course, she then needed to put on the dress…and jot a few last minute notes…

A few last minute touches and then off to the ceremony, where Nicole would marry her love, her Justin.

A day, a couple, a marriage and a life soaked in prayer…perhaps my favorite element to the day…

The ceremony was just out in the yard in front of the barn.  It was a ceremony full of giggles and tears…words of commitment and love.

Congratulations you guys, we were blessed to capture your day!  Stay tuned for part two…
