Mike & Amber {Engaged}

We got way back with Amber…like back to stunting, cheer camp and other days of high school.  Our paths hadn’t crossed since high school, but through the glorious connections of facebook and pintrest, we were pumped when she contacted us about her wedding.  Amber and Mike go way back too.  They met in early college, followed each other between Columbia & St. Louis, before settling into a rhythm of life in St. Charles.  These two were a blast to hang out with!  They came in to town for the session, so we explored Kansas City with them, sharing some of our favorite spaces.  The day started out rainy, so we stopped for a coffee and catch up time first (love it!).   We started at The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts…so beautiful.  The weather was moody so we got started with the umbrella, but the sun soon came out to play.  We did our best to explain the significance and distinctions of the building…but Mike here’s a more articulate version for you!

After that we took them to one of our new favorite places, quick change and more exploring!

These two were so great, relaxed and in love.  They totally trusted our direction (always awesome) and were fun to spend the morning with.  We hope you guys enjoy your pictures and we look forward to seeing you next fall!
